How to link contacts to an organization

If you have contacts that aren't actively working for an organization, but are involved in a deal with it you have the option to link them to the organization.

Link a contact from Organization view

Open the Organization view → click on the link icon.

Type the name of the contact you want to link → select contact from the suggested drop-down → Link

Your contact will be marked as linked in the Organization view.

Open contact → click on the arrow in the organization icon → Link contact.

Type the name of the contact you want to link → select contact from the suggested drop-down→ Link.

Your contact will be marked as linked in the Organization view pop-up.

Where to find linked contacts

When you link a contact to an organization it will be marked as such in the Organization view at the bottom of your contacts.

Similarly, if a contact is linked to an organization you can see the details in the Organization view pop-up.

Notes:
  • Contacts can not be linked together if neither has an organization. 
  • To link Contacts at least one of them needs to have an organization.
